Bioactive Gym – Terms & Conditions

Membership Terms

  • Memberships are available to individuals aged 16+. Those under 16 must have a parent or guardian’s consent.

  • Members must check in at reception using their membership code on every visit. Without it, access may be denied.

  • Direct Debit Memberships

    1. Cooling-Off Period

      • All new Direct Debit memberships are subject to a 7-day cooling-off period, commencing from the date of the member’s induction.

      • During this period, the member may cancel their membership and receive a refund of any fees paid, excluding the first month’s payment which is strictly non-refundable.

      • Access to facilities/services may be withdrawn immediately upon cancellation during the cooling-off period.

    2. Minimum Commitment & First Payment

      • The first month’s Direct Debit payment is non-refundable under any circumstances.

      • By signing up, the member acknowledges and agrees to this condition.

    3. Cancellation Policy

      • After the cooling-off period, members may cancel their membership by providing one month’s written notice.

      • Notice must be submitted in writing via email, letter, or through the official cancellation form provided by the club/organisation.

      • Membership will remain active until the expiry of the notice period, and Direct Debit payments due within that notice period will still be collected.

    4. Final Payments

      • Any outstanding fees must be settled before cancellation takes effect.

      • Members remain liable for payments scheduled during the notice period, even if they choose not to use the facilities/services.

    5. Suspension / Pausing (if applicable)

      • Memberships cannot be suspended or paused during the notice period.

      • Requests for temporary suspension (outside the notice period) may be considered at the discretion of management and may be subject to an administration fee.

    6. Exceptional Circumstances

      • The organisation reserves the right to consider cancellation without notice in cases of serious illness, injury, or relocation, provided that appropriate evidence (e.g., medical certificate, proof of address change) is supplied.

      • Any such exceptions are at management’s discretion.

  • Prepaid Memberships: Non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • The gym is for members only. Guests are not permitted.

  • During peak times, please be mindful and limit time on high-demand equipment.

Code of Conduct

To ensure a safe and welcoming environment, members must:

  • Return all weights and equipment after use.

  • Wipe down machines with a towel after use.

  • Wear appropriate gym attire (t-shirts/vests, shorts/tracksuits, and suitable footwear).

  • Refrain from offensive language, excessive noise, or mistreatment of equipment.

  • Not bring food, mugs, or open cups into the gym area.

  • Never attend under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Failure to follow these rules may result in suspension or termination of membership. Bioactive Gym reserves the right to refuse entry or cancel membership at its discretion.

All members use the facilities at their own risk. Bioactive Gym is not responsible for injury, illness, loss, or damage to personal belongings under any circumstances.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Membership cancellations and refunds are subject to our Membership Terms & Conditions.

  • Digital products (such as recipe packs) are non-refundable once downloaded.

  • For one-time class bookings, cancellations must be made at least [X hours] before the session to qualify for a refund or credit.
